With the cost of 9mm these days, I would buy a P365 chambered in 22LR for some cost effective, realistic training. The gun would need to weigh the same as a 9mm P365 and have the same trigger pull. I'm not sure if a 22LR would have enough recoil to cycle the slide.

I will be interested to see if the MS and XL models have the same range of between 4.5 - 7 lbs as the original. I would think the MS would have a lighter trigger than one without a manual safety. He currently owns two, one with a born date in mid March and one with a born date in mid May. He has thoroughly examined both guns and has observed some interesting changes in the May gun.

"Spontaneous Discharges" are a myth born of attempts to conceal a Negligent Discharge and shift liability from the bozo who tried to holster his gun with his finger on the trigger, or allowed/had something inside the trigger guard that activated/pressed the trigger.In my opinion, the P365 trigger is smooth enough. Any gains achieved by polishing will not likely show up on your target 7-15 yards away. Where and how consistently the bullet hits should be the goal, not the feel of the trigger. Edit: and I do get the fix it til it's broke and it's fun to modify stuff thing.Uplula is more universal while the Makershot is specific to the P365 mags but also much cheaper. Once you get them fully loaded, leave them like that until your next range trip. Even now, keep them loaded with as many as you can get in there. It will help a lot and it will get easier through use. By the way, the big mags hold 15rds, not 14.
