However, it was coming back in, and should be fine in Jan. My understanding is Pamilla will not re-open the course until March 2015.

However, the Palace resorts are better quality choices. I'd pick one of them and you can visit the Sante Fe as much as you like. There are two Riu Palace's. The newest of them is Adults Only. Yes you need to make reservations for the restaurants. You should not have a problem making reservations providing you make them early.
