So I'm doing a new Character, a Tiefling Rogue, I get to the Background which has defaulted to Acolyte, and it tells me I have Acrobatics, Slight of Hand x2, Stealth x2, Religion, Insight, and finally Deception. So it's adding the +6 Sleight of Hand that you have, +5 from Dexterity, +3 from Proficiency Bonus (from your overall level) = +14 total added to Sleight of Hand Checks.
