Definitely the wrong answer, but my favorite romance is Beast. His romance is a nice mix of sweet, funny, and sad. I felt put off by how intensely/early other romance routes started (Ifan, I'm looking at you and your constant flirting) and thought others were kind of unhealthy (Lohse's "you're my cure" thing stands out). I believe you should have been able to get the tablet off of Ryker. If you didn't, then the game must have bugged. The tablet is part of the recipe it lists, so it is necessary.
